The Charm of Razalannas is a cunning, sentient Dragon Orb possessing the power of subjugation. Given sufficient time to exert its malignant energies, it can compel the obedience of any sapient being.

During the Lith-Crillion Era, a fabled azure drake named Razalannas tormented the inhabitants of Arcana. After amassing sufficient sorcery at Aggda, the Lith-Crillon ensnared the creature within a web of mystical energy and then exiled the dragon to the Abyss.

On an Abyssal world, Razalannas engaged in conflict with the demon lord Onoskelis. The dragon was captured by the demon lord's minions. Razalannas endured torture and deprivation for hundreds of years. During this time, he cultivated guile from the scheming nature of his captors. Some even claim he was taught by demons who wished to witness their master's downfall. Several times, Razalannas's schemes nearly came to fruition. His final plot divided Onoskelis's army into three factions, each vying to become the master of the demon lord's realm. A rival demon lord seized the opportunity, slaying Onoskelis, seizing her holdings, and then thanking Razalannas for his strategic maneuvering. The new master, however, had no intention of succumbing to the dragon's machinations. He had Razalannas killed and the dragon's brain carefully extracted. The Charm of Razalannas was subsequently created using this brain.

In the 81st year, the Azwyr Amoruk of Khalas discovered the Charm of Razalannas. Utilizing this artifact, they assumed control over several Mulinburam. Dispatching these ghostly kings, they infiltrated the goliath tribes, subverting their leaders. After securing sway over three of the goliath's foremost chieftains and other prominent figures, the Azwyr rallied the tribes to a common purpose - the destruction of Malad-Mîn. Thus was the Khalas-Tûr confederacy formed, and war waged against Malad-Mîn.
