In the Orchish Empire, orphans under twelve without parents are sent to military boarding schools known as Fograth Army Crèches. With one such institution in each city of the Orchish Empire, only a third operate at a given time. Every two months, the Crèche pupils rotate to another city, acquiring knowledge of the surrounding land and peoples.
