This vast body of water is nourished by swift-flowing streams and rivers. These waterways drain from the rugged, wooded slopes on the southern side of Girrun'nâth. The Hedrac valley lies south of the lake, rising upward to the south and carving into the Siganbul mountains. The waters of the lake originate primarily from the melting of Barândîr, imparting a brilliant azure hue akin to the ice of the glacier.
