The Second Epoch witnessed the construction of the Matak March, a military road initiated by the Orchish Empire to facilitate the integration of the independent hobgoblin city-state of Matak into their domain. The thoroughfare was engineered to connect the imperial capital with the strategic locale of Matak.
The Matak March commences at a fork in the Sarmarg Road. It then traverses eastward across the sprawling plains of Knur Slagming, ultimately ascending into the towering Torengrarg mountains. Beyond these peaks, the march continues across the desolate Tarthar Wastes, eventually reaching the gates of the city of Matak.
