Porphyry was built by the Rilirthad.
In 1803, the city and the surrounding land for miles were inundated by the elemental waters surging from Aphenarun. This flooding isolated the city, severing its connection to Rilirthad's army. The city then became besieged by the forces of the Greenland Alliance. When Porphyry succumbed to the attackers, it was reduced to ruins by colossal battlebriars.
The ensuing decades have witnessed the arid terrain surrounding the remnants of Porphyry transition into verdant grasslands and then dense forests. Formidable druidic sorcery and the bewitched waters of the Waterhaven Channel markedly accelerated the restoration of this region to its natural state.
