During the reign of a Setarch, the Khazakar Empire begins constructing an elaborate burial pyramid as their final resting place. These expensive undertakings are marred by corruption at all levels. Collectively known as the Pyramids of the Setarchs, they serve dual purposes - as tombs for fallen Setarchs and as properties of mixed use. Some house government offices, barracks, or a combination of commercial and residential spaces. The individual pyramids that comprise the Pyramids of the Setarchs are named after the Setarch interred within.
Each of the Pyramids of the Setarchs is equal in size and magnificence to a Pyramid of Power. This is no coincidence, as numerous Khazarkars firmly believe they share a common ancestry with the Lith-Crillion race.
The type of stone used in the pyramids varies by century, with the final two centuries of pyramids constructed from the distinctive blue and white striated marble prevalent across Idgri.
