The Thranerch Mountains lie within the southeastern expanse of the High Wood Country. The local goblin population has long vexed the Angrods. These goblins have inhabited the region far predating the arrival of the elves from Phael. As the Angrods encroached upon the dense woodlands, claiming the territory, the goblins perceived this as competition for the area's game. Conflict and combat have since ensued between the two groups.
Thranerch's goblins are primarily renowned for two distinctive traits: the creation of Grishnákh Voodoo and an exceptional proficiency with the sling that rivals the elves' famed expertise in archery. Additionally, the goblins are acclaimed for the formidable power of their shamanic spellcasters.
