Dûlan is a metallic substance that resembles iron in appearance and workability, yet possesses a remarkable resistance to natural corrosion. This metal exhibits a potent toxicity towards barnacles and other organisms known for affixing themselves to piers and the undersides of vessels. When incorporated into a magical item, Dûlan becomes impervious to the corrosive effects of slimes, puddings, and oozes. One of the most intriguing properties of this material is its ability to regenerate. A chipped sword will repair itself within a week, while two fragments of a broken dagger will mend together in half that time.
The Mezrack designated this metal after the lunar body Dûlan-Nûl.
