In the early stages of the First Epoch, the Orchish Empire expanded northward into Inirthak. They laid claim to portions of Morath, lands previously controlled by the Gimhak Monarchy (1306 HE - 1479). This proved to be the most arduous conflict yet for the fledgling empire of Blac'drugulois.
The conflict spanned five arduous years, culminating in the Orchish Empire's conquest of Morath and the lower reaches of Bileddanul, the threshold to the Gimkhak's mountain strongholds. Solidifying their dominion along the banks of the Glumgard River, the victors commenced construction on the formidable fortress of Kotharlarg.
The Gimhak reside within ancient mountain fortresses that have stood for millennia. Launching a direct offensive would prove too costly, so we shall instead conceal the lowlands with a network of fortifications and immense strongholds, encircling them, before commencing the extermination of these pests.
