The evergreen forest of Morath is situated at the juncture of three mountain ranges. The Atlaknar mountains lie to the southwest, the Bileddanul range is to the north, and the Torengrarg mountains are to the west. South of Morath expands the lofty, grassy plains of Ergrium.
The rugged terrain of Morath features towering, forested hills, numerous fractured crags, ravines, and cliffs. The dense woodland is inhabited by thousands of wolves and worgs. The Fograth regularly capture and breed many worg pups, as well as a sizable number of cave bears, which they then subject to malevolent magic, transforming them into dreaded ironclad maulers. These ferocious creatures are employed by the region's goblin scouts. The region is also home to numerous Earth Giant tribes and several green dragons. The largest settlement in the area is the city of Kotharlarg.
In the Morath War, the Orchish Empire captured this region from the Gimhak.
