Monwuil is a profound lake situated along the northeastern periphery of Sava'loth's domain. This locale is fiercely contested between the Angrods and the Jara. A prevalent Angrod stratagem involves navigating this expansive lake, bombarding roving Jara contingents with a barrage of arrows and arcane sorcery.
The hasty temperament of the jara renders them imprudent, as they recklessly charge into the water in a fit of aggravation, whereupon they are promptly assaulted by massive gar and their Angrod submariners.
Únel Laelarwath, from a training manual for combating jara - "The Rage of Jara" The jara are fierce and unpredictable creatures, prone to sudden outbursts of uncontrolled aggression To effectively engage these formidable foes, one must maintain unwavering focus and composure The warrior's approach must be measured, anticipating the jara's erratic movements and channeling their own energy with precision When confronted by a jara, it is crucial to remain calm and alert Hasty strikes will only invite the creature's wrath, leaving the warrior vulnerable Instead, observe the jara's patterns, waiting for an opportune moment to deliver calculated blows Exploit openings in its defenses, striking with swift, economical movements Remember, the jara's strength lies in its unbridled ferocity By mirroring this intensity with disciplined technique, the warrior can triumph over these savage beasts Through rigorous training and steadfast determination, one can master the art of subduing the Rage of Jara
The lake bed of Monwuil is blanketed with more than just the bones of jara. During the Demon Spawn War, captives were hurled into the lake from the ramparts of Devdine. The majority of these unfortunate souls were halfling soldiers serving under Avandra.
The Monwuil Twine commences at the southernmost extremity of this expansive lake. It subsequently flows southward where it confluences with the esteemed Anassúmë River. The source of the Monwuil Twine features perilous rapids, constraining navigation to rafts or swimmers for over ten miles.
