The valley of Moredhel is situated between the easternmost peaks of the Kimaris mountain range. This part of the mountains is far more accessible than its northern counterparts. Consequently, the valley features numerous routes leading to the Broken Lands and the verdant areas to the south. The valley extends 200 miles from its southern terminus at Elphion to its northern point at the Fihrgrell Cap.
For two centuries during the Demon Spawn War, the valley was partially submerged in the seawater of an Abyssal ocean known as Fihrgrell. When The Frozen Titan was put in place ( 253 GE ) , the waters of this alien sea receded to a trickle. Today, the salt deposits from the time when Fihrgrell's waters flooded the valley can be found throughout the region. This abyssal-tainted salt possesses mild psychoactive properties, making it a coveted commodity in certain markets.
After the Demon Spawn War, a sizable group of Aarakocra settled here. They are currently recognized as the Ackairon.
In the First Epoch, numerous conflicts transpired in its southern regions. These battles were over the valuable resources of the Pugad Hills, an area claimed by the Merorarg province, a territory of the Niratar Theocracy, yet coveted by the expansionist ruler of Ba'lith.
The most renowned conflict of this valley was the War of the Three Queens ( 601 - 603 ) . In this war, three sister-queens met their demise - Queen Sanglamore, Queen Sarquiness, and Queen Bleeberghast. Although the mortal lives of these three Sovereigns ended, their spirits endured in three formidable swords named Bleeberghast, Sanglamore, and Sarquiness.
