The vast expanse of Fihrgrell spans the oceans of the Abyss world known as Kurun'Ush.
In the Demon Spawn War, a rift was opened at the head of Bal-Kriav's Moredhel Valley. This development forged a connection between this valley and an ocean of another realm. At the time of the Moredhel-Fihrgrell Rift (233 GE), seawater inundated the valley, giving rise to lake Moharr, and continuing westward, draining into the Ratanur Trap. This area acquired the designation of the Fihrgrell Drain (237 GE) due to the utilization of a null mine to generate a counterrift.
In the year 253 GE, Thyrm, serving under the Quarat'un Covenant, sealed the Moredhel-Fihrgrell Rift with The Frozen Titan. Presently, vestiges of this ancient ocean can be observed in the profound depths of Lake Dynaer on the world of Bal-Kriav.
