The Limbgud is an adamantine fortress-monastery nestled within the Morath Forest. This alien domain, constructed in the Sea of Entropy, is said to be a place where the forging and shaping of adamantine is akin to the intricate weaving of a basket. The Limbgud was originally conceived by its builders, the Zisi-Nul, as a retreat for deep contemplation, with a focus on studying the intricacies of order, destiny, entropy, and destruction.
The year 714 saw Limbgud devastated by an elemental tempest. This chaotic weather, fueled by the volatile energies of Chaos, decimated the garrison stationed there. Falling silent, the monastery was presumed destroyed.
In 769, Blac'drugulois and a company of war trolls came across Limbgud. They discovered that the tempest of 714 had transported the monastery through a rift, removing it from the Sea of Entropy and relocating it to the world of Bal-Kriav. Within the ruins, Blac'drugulois, a gifted psionicist, found a cache of scrolls and tomes pertaining to Limbgud's former inhabitants. This piqued his interest in the Zisi-Nul.
In 997, having received word regarding the whereabouts of their former stronghold, the Zisi-Nul reclaimed the settlement of Limbgud.
In 1115, the Githirmil advanced into this region. Shortly thereafter, they constructed the settlement Kotharlarg within sight of Limgud. Blac'drugulois, now the Emperor of the Orchish Empire, designated Limbgud a restricted area, the property of the Zisi-Nul.
