MAZE

The Maze Islands lie off the southeastern shores of Gorejun. This designation is no mere generic term applied to this cluster of five major islands and thousands of smaller isles, as well as the innumerable rocks protruding from the seabed. The myriad islands, shoals, and reefs truly constitute an oceanic labyrinth in the truest sense. Precious few navigators have successfully traversed this treacherous region. Vessels that have braved these waters have endured catastrophic crew losses, succumbing to natural perils such as disease and starvation, as well as brazen assaults by cannibalistic tribes, reef giants, sea serpents, and other denizens of the depths.
