Giant

Type derived from Primordial

Giant is the primary language of most giant-kind. It is derived from Primordial, with one text claiming that Thyrm created Giant as a secret language for communications among his troops. This was likely done to keep other primordials embroiled in the Creation War from knowing his schemes. Giant remained a secret for nearly a century until enough had been learned from those captured or turned to provide a solid translation. During the God Era, it spread due to its simplicity compared to Primordial.

There are consistently two manners of expressing something in Primordial, one for the Primordial Lord, and one for the subordinate. The intricacy and perplexity do not conclude there, as numerous terms possess two to five ways of articulation, again one method for the Primordial Lords, and the alternative methods for the subordinates. Thyrm selected one word from each, none from the Primordial Lords' usage, and established the Giant language. It lacks the elegance and fluidity of Primordial combinations of diverse words, but is considerably simpler to acquire even for the unintelligent.
