The Bru'khar soldiers stationed at Gamazûd considered this weapon to be cursed. Whoever possessed it would eventually depart to locate some dwarves. Recovered time and again, it was granted to another, who met the same inevitable demise. Some attributed this to ill fortune, while others believed it to be a curse imposed by a dwarven deity, a punishment for its use in the slaughter of numerous dwarves.
The weapon's name, "Beard Drinker," is emblazoned on the haft in the Giant tongue.
