The Gamazûd vault is believed to have been constructed during the God Era by the Mîmêk Army. In the Second Epoch, Mizagûm miners excavated into the side of this ancient structure. For reasons unknown, they maintained the location as a closely guarded secret. The presence of a formidable garrison did not escape notice, fueling rumors of a vast divine treasure trove housed within, as well as whispers of a mighty evil they were tasked to restrain.
The ancient city of Gamazûd was seized by the mighty Fomorian empire of Bru'khar in the year 1815. Regrettably, numerous efforts by the warriors of Mizagûm to reclaim the city have hitherto proved unsuccessful.
In 1826, a group of enslaved individuals escaped from one of the mines under Brachypelma. The search for these escapees led the Bru'khar garrison at Gamazûd to encounter neogi slavers serving the Drachdekai Pact. Hostilities commenced shortly thereafter, initiating the Gamazûd War.
