Shark Isles

The Shark Isles drift lackadaisically around the periphery of the Šadullu mainland. These sky islands are massive earthen masses in the shape of enormous sharks, massive fish, and other marine life on a scale only found in realms like the Cresting Spires. The ancient libraries of Aphalur contain a tome stating the Nine-Tongued Worm brought these alien creatures to Bal-Kriav. They were to assist in the destruction of Šadullu, dispersing their entropic emanations into the continent. Further within the book, it claims that when the World Destroyer was repelled, "a shattered continent was left in its wake, and in the skies around, the petrified bodies of colossal sharks prowling coasts now hundreds of feet above a Dark Sea."
