The Sanguine Whispers are maestros of deception, covert actions, and subversion. One of the skills they have elevated to an art form is the Saboteur prestige class. A Saboteur is an explosives specialist charged with demolishing bridges, doors, portcullis, towers, walls, and even harming creatures. They are proficient in the employment of hourglass, weight, wind, chemical, and water-based timers.

The Saboteur employs gunpowder and/or a lethal blend of pure energy and negative energy (a substance known as Nilience) held within crystalline tubes that are crushed together through the use of expanding materials, water, acid to dissolve the glass, pressure and light-sensitive spores, or magical timers to trigger the charge.

Some unconventional Saboteurs integrated paint, perfumes, and other compounds into their explosive devices.

A saboteur should never be so imprudent as to bear excessive quantities of explosives upon their person. A devastating assault, like an incendiary sphere, or even tumbling into a chasm has the potential of detonating an explosive, which in turn could trigger a chain reaction.

Safety Measures Ensuring one's personal safety is paramount when conducting sabotage operations. Thorough precautions must be taken to mitigate the inherent risks involved. Firstly, maintain an inconspicuous appearance to avoid drawing unwanted attention. Blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment, eschewing distinctive or memorable attire. Secondly, exercise extreme caution when handling explosive or incendiary materials. Improper techniques can result in catastrophic consequences. Meticulously follow safety protocols to the letter. Thirdly, maintain situational awareness at all times. Remain vigilant for potential threats or witnesses that could jeopardize the mission. Swiftly neutralize any individuals who pose a risk. Finally, ensure a swift and seamless exit strategy is in place. Detailed planning is essential to evade pursuit and elimination of evidence. Adhere strictly to these safety measures to maximize the probability of mission success and your own survival.

AOE Blast
An AOE Blast causes damage in an area of effect.
Focused Blast
A Focused Blast increases damage by 50%. The directional blast is typically 20' long and 10' wide at the terminus. This tactic requires a 50lb blast shield that is shaped and driven (or held if the creature has a 20 or greater strength) into the ground with spikes.
Concentrated Blast
The Saboteur can use the concentrated blast attack. This advanced technique uses a directional blast shield and the Nilience Grade B to create a tremendous explosion. Damage is increased by 100%. If used as an area of effect attack, then the damage is increased by 25%.
Super Charged AOE
With Super Charged AOE, the Saboteur can increase the area of effect of a charge by 100%. This requires the use of an unstable substance called Grade C Nilience. The Saboteur also learns the ability to create and maintain Ocillostroke energy weapons.

One of the skills mastered at this esteemed level is Ocillostroke Mechanics and Crystal Integrity. This curriculum instructs the saboteur in the fabrication of crystal rods and the assembly of positive energy weaponry.

Satchel Charges
With Satchel Charges, the saboteur learns the ability to create a backpack of explosives that can be hurled and exploding on impact or timed.

A blast requires a preparation time based on the structure's size, foundation, and other factors. The table below outlines the typical setup time, but additional factors may necessitate adjustments to the time required:
