Shade Farm denotes regions, some as vast as a celestial body, where elevated concentrations of Necrotic Energy and negative energy have converged, coalescing into shadow energy. These locales serve as sanctuaries for Shades and other entities of a shadowy nature.
Some Shade Farms are somber, gloomy places, devoid of life energy. In the Quara'tun System, the moon Deaths Kindle is perhaps the most formidable of these. An area much less potent, yet perilous to the living is Bal-Kriav's Shadow Rift. Any living being that lingers here for too long risks an Energy Exchange, forfeiting their life energy for shadow energy, becoming a Shade or some other creature of the shadows.
