Between the Hlothangi Forest and the Primordial Storm are hundreds of ponds, pools, and five lakes. Known as the Dog Bowl since the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), these lands have been home to the gnolls. When the demon lord Yeenoghu controlled this area, gnolls and demons filled his hungry legions, and the Dog Bowl served as a training ground for Yeenoghu's evil war hounds, the leucrotta. Here, they honed the art of deception and their cruel methods of prolonging their kills.
