The Igulâd Plunge is a vast Underdark canyon situated in the northeastern region of Khelan. Extending approximately fifteen miles in length, the canyon gradually widens to a breadth of roughly half a mile near its central point. At the canyon's base, an opening leads directly to the undersea realm of Nielalroch. Swimmers who venture beyond the Underdark's boundary find themselves submerged 400 feet beneath the ocean's surface.
When the city of Dushinbal grew, Igulâd Plunge became the designated site for its refuse and wastewater disposal. The sewers leading to this area feature a series of fortified structures along their five-mile stretch. These defenses are heavily reinforced due to the objections of Natar's tritons regarding Dushinbal's waste management practices.
