Map Knaevan River

This broad, rapidly flowing river originates from Lake Waloom. It traverses eastward from the lake, passing the mudlands to the north at the marshes and hills of upper Elpašân. Upon crossing into the region of Izagunbar, it converges with the River Spinnaker. Downstream from this confluence, the Knaevan river turns northward. The final one hundred miles of the river's course carve through mountainous terrain, transforming into a deep and expansive fjord.

The Knaevan was not always so expansive and swift. When Lokestant fashioned the Waterhaven Channel, water gushed from Mount Aphenarun akin to an erupting volcano. This influx of water broadened the shores of ponds and lakes. In numerous regions, the Knaevan's width tripled in size.
