Nourished by the glaciers of the Gelugon Range, the lake of Nadrunal bears the name of a water naga that once dwelled within its waters. During the inaugural reign of the first leader of the Council of Bile, the naga Nadrunal acted as his most trusted confidant, assisting in the establishment of a government tailored to the burgeoning nation's numerous and fiercely competitive military orders.
The Lake of Nadrunal spans an impressive expanse, measuring nearly fifty miles across and extending twenty miles from north to south. The Council of Bile relies upon this vast body of water for fishing and the transport of goods to the numerous dwellings lining its shores. Foreigners traversing the lake must pay a toll of 1 silver piece per person. Dotting the lake's surface are 26 scattered islands, some of which host fishing villages, private villas, keeps, or even prisons. The lake's eastern outflow feeds into the Foronir, a navigable waterway capable of accommodating larger vessels.
