Oruš Mata is a collection of islands situated on the southwestern periphery of the Buccaneer Archipelago. The region's treacherous reefs pose a significant danger to large transiting vessels, yet this does not deter smaller craft from exploiting the area's bountiful shoals. Ever since the ascent of Ivory Asylum, the waterways traversing this domain have assumed considerable importance. The constant winds and perilous water conditions compelled the construction of a network of lighthouses and sea cave harbors, the latter primarily utilized during tempestuous weather. Even with these safeguards in place, Oruš Mata remains a navigator's nightmare, a risk worth undertaking only when time is of the essence.
