Early in the Dawn Era, the Galeb-Duhr were created by a Creationist named Danzar-Khâl. On the world Ilabizdum, his work proved crude. He was new to making Works of Creation and felt ashamed of his creations. Being noble and good of heart, he could not now do away with his living creations as if they were poorly forged weapons or lopsided pottery. Not wanting to make more oddities that would on first sight be accused of being something from Chaos, Danzar-Khâl sought out a far more experienced Creationist named Bruh Kreniik. With his help, Danzar-Khâl would go on to create life forms more pleasing to the eye than his Galeb-Duhr.
The Galeb-Duhr were initially displeased that their Creator perceived them as an error. With the passage of time, they began to introspect, seeking ways to improve themselves and demonstrate that their race was not merely the result of a failed experiment. They gained a profound understanding of the entropic energy within their own bodies, which Danzar-Khâl had imbued them with, as it was one of the more accessible energies to wield when sculpting a new lifeform. The Galeb-Duhr subsequently became masters of utilizing spell-like abilities to manipulate earth and stone.
