Occasionally confused with anti-matter energy, null energy is in fact far more pernicious. It represents the polar opposite of all known energy forms. Its initial application was in the development of null mines by the primordials, who employed them to generate rifts between various planes of existence.

The effect of the disintegration spell originates from null energy. Subsequently, this power was harnessed in the creation of the inaugural Sphere of Annihilation. Mercilessly, the archangel Sehanine employed her novel invention to eradicate countless demons, who were drawn into a void of null energy and expunged from existence.

Nothing can escape the dreadful Spheres of Annihilation, not even soul energy. Though not inherently malicious by nature, the use of these devices against sentient beings, regardless of their convictions, should be prohibited. Even the most reprehensible individuals deserve an opportunity for redemption and a fair judicial process.
