When the Eenkai arrived in Geb's Rain, they came aboard massive voidships known collectively as the Eenkai Void Pods. These colossal vessels served as the settlements that would eventually become the nation of Nordern. Boasting advanced technology from a realm devoid of arcane power, these ships could withstand both the vacuum of space and the immense pressure of the deepest oceanic depths.
The largest of these vessels, now known as Hadal One, became the capital of Nordern on 16 Artifice 734.
Hadal was devastated during the 792 Bombing of Geb. The city's shielding dome ruptured from a shockwave, its inhabitants succumbing to the immense pressure of the surrounding deep sea.
In the 1300s, the ruined city was reoccupied by the sahuagin. Discovering the inner chambers of the settlement unscathed, they eventually unearthed a means to activate its flooded engines.
