Native Bal-Kriav, Throndar

The Eenkai were created in the Dawn Era by a Sphere Creationist named Balthioul. Their home world was Throndar, where they would assist in battling the primordial onslaught of the Creation War, which spanned from 1486 DE to 8777 DE.

The Eenkai, denizens of the world of Bal-Kriav, are descendants of intellectuals who fled Throndar. They escaped a widespread persecution against those deemed to be intellectual elites. The highly educated, scientific practitioners, and all who dared to explore the unknown were considered a threat to the common populace. During the First Epoch, these intellectuals comprised a sizable portion of Throndar's ten million Eenkai.

The Intellectual Creed had long directed the decisions affecting the masses, but this began to shift in the Year 500. The populace demanded leaders more representative of the common folk, individuals they could see and hear, rather than adhering to posted edicts within the seemingly boundless structures of academia.

It required two centuries to catalyze change. The intellectuals labored to preserve their esteemed status, what they viewed as their rightful dominion owing to their exceptional mental capacities. The Intellectual Creed, pacifists, forestalled the impending purge, departing Throndar for the celestial expanse.

In the year 734, aboard void-faring vessels, the Intellectual Creed ventured into the Hollow of Tarsilja. They were transported to another stellar system, ultimately settling on a cratered world known as Geb's Rain. That same year, the Intellectual Creed founded the nation of Nordern upon their newfound home.

In the 1692 Bombing of Geb, the Eenkai were once more compelled to abandon their second homeworld. With the assistance of the deity Tempestant, they escaped Geb's rain through three rifts known as Tempestant's Spring. Three of their cities successfully reached the world of Bal-Kriav.

In the world of Bal-Kriav, the most substantial population of Eenkai resides in the levitating metropolises of the Nordern Theocracy, as well as those inhabiting the territories of the Divine Empire.

Some Eenkai possess bio-enhancements such as psionic sinew. Many hailing from Nordern have artificial gills, which enable them to breathe underwater for extended durations as a sea-dwelling people. Additionally, some have access to biomechanical armor and other uncommon equipment developed on the arcane-dead world of Throndar, owing to their history in the seas of Geb's Rain.

The Eenkai are pale-skinned, possessing white eyes and lacking hair They are slender in build, ranging from 5' to 6' in height and weighing between 150 to 175 pounds.
