The Draconic Kin are a people descended from the blood of dragons. On the world of Bal-Kriav, an estimated 30,000 inhabit the lands, seas, and depths of Midrêth.

The Diiv Kiir constitute a medium-sized humanoid race, possessing dragon-like characteristics that range from subtle to overt. While they rarely exhibit wings or talons, their resemblance to their closest draconic relatives, the Kriistvrii, remains evident, though often more understated.

Draconic offspring occur through both natural and unnatural means. The natural pathway involves intercourse between a dragon that has shapeshifted into a humanoid form, or vice versa. The unnatural method entails a magical process and the infusion of a dragon's blood into a near-term expectant mother. Whitefang's sorcerer-craftsmen are renowned for this latter approach.

If there is a substantial population of us, we can establish family units and reproduce among one another, but even this has its limitations. Additional measures are taken to ensure the continuity of the lineage, with some dragons accumulating significant hoards from these services.

The illustrious Diiv Kiir lineage is that of your family, the Biles. Our bloodline is robust, storied, a legacy of leaders blessed by Bahamut for its potent blood and the tutelage of Ares for its nobility and martial spirit.

In the Hells Womb region of Bal-Kriav, the Council of Bile claims the largest Diiv Kiir population. Westward, the dragon bloodlines of the Lands of Purity generally adhere to the principles of law and goodness. They are recent arrivals to the region, descendants of the Eenkai and the gold dragons of Geb's Rain. Within the lands of Iizus Yeldah, the Diiv Kiir are predominantly descendants of a white dragon named Amaglothorn.

The Diiv Kiir possess a distinguishing characteristic that sets them apart from other lineages. This birthmark, physical trait, or coloration is a Dragon Vanity Mark , a clear indicator of their ancestry. The Khage, dwarves who intermingled with silver dragons, have either silver fingernails or captivating silver hair akin to that of the elves.
