The Stables of Ambaratel originated as a trading post for Satyr, Centaur, and other inhabitants of the Thundering Plain. The settlement was named after a local Satyr rancher, Ambaratel. Located at the convergence of two navigable rivers, the Stables of Ambaratel expanded with the river traffic moving between Razan and the Vale of Gul, "the adamantine line," as well as eastward along the River Knaevan to the Pearl Sea.
Ambaratel is a member of the Greenland Alliance.
