In 1795, a group of druids, rangers, and members of the Nature Protectorates conducted an impact study on the dark woods of Maegorion and the beast lands of Singarban. They coined the term "Dark Timber Migration" to describe the spread of Dark Nature across Maegorion and into surrounding areas. The party identified the cause of the transformation affecting the forest, as well as the forces behind the ongoing, expanding corruption of plants and beasts.
