Slaves refer to this day as the "Forlorn Hope," while spectators and hunters term it the Running of the Bulls. In this event, the participants are designated hunters and slaves. The slaves, comprising prisoners, the disgraced, or those seeking financial gain, are the hunted. The hunted must merely survive to attain their desired reward - liberty, reputation, or monetary prize. The event is held in a rugged area known as Runners Leap, which has been sculpted over time to include subterranean labyrinths and other obstacles.

In the initial stages, the minotaurs hosted this competition as an internal affair, intended solely for the gratification of the minotaurs of the Ba'lith. However, the allure of foreign currency and the prospect of piracy targeting incoming vessels carrying affluent speculators gradually transformed this event into a spectacle open to all civilizations.

The subjects of the Great King, timid and subservient, are situated within a massive labyrinth, pursued relentlessly by a herd of minotaurs. The minotaurs' arms are bound, allowing them to wield only their formidable horns as weapons. Should the runners successfully navigate the maze, they earn their freedom; otherwise, they face the risk of being trampled or gored with savage efficiency, much to the delight of the spectating throngs.
