Late in the Horgon Era, the deity Poseidon once more disregarded the Mandate of the Heavens by intervening in mortal affairs. Enraged by the loss of temples to the acolytes of Talos, he submerged a portion of the Arskels. This led to the sinking and destruction of the storm giant city Hleirim and the formation of the bay Klo'nah Lomok.
The act of Poseidon is believed to be the impetus for the establishment of The Balance.
