The Adrumuls rose to prominence in the early period of the First Epoch. They were the second family to become part of the Minâth-Nôrî, the elite families of Khazarkar society. Their domain was Chal-Kazod, where they amassed their wealth and power through farming. They controlled the wheat in Chal-Kazod's granaries, with their walled compounds, small keeps, silos, and warehouses firmly under their ownership. This allowed them to manipulate prices and coerce the city's leaders. The state's proposals for more equitable distribution were thwarted by the Adrumuls' personal armies, which were substantial, comprising a third the size of Belkazim's forces. These troops guarded the granary compounds and dotted the countryside, where the Adrumuls maintained 17 keeps and 7 castles. They safeguarded the farmlands from beasts and raiders, ever vigilant against any ideas of radical change from those seated on the Inverted Throne.
Instigators of the Adrumul-Belkazim War, the noble House of Adrumal had secured control by the conflict's conclusion. They then founded the Kingdom of Adrumul, supplanting the House of Belkazim and initiating a protracted rivalry.
The Adrumul's preeminent officials were eliminated by Belkazim assassins in 346.
In the Great Exodus (998 - 1017), the Adrumuls migrated to the region of Cinazan. There, they have remained prominent landowners, deriving their prosperity from agricultural pursuits. The majority of the family's estates are situated within and surrounding the city of Barun-Mitân.
