Background Report
Several months ago, a giff named Mondluk organized a raiding mission against certain illithid colonies on Urokolon. He assembled a small yet resolute contingent of mercenaries and members of the Sanguine Whisper squad. Our intelligence suggests they intended to raid a mining depot and plunder its stockpiles of Nandistike.
This group is reported to have successfully executed this raid. We know this from a psionicist planted among the mercenary group by the Council of Entrieda. The giff captain Mondluk then elected to press his luck by conducting a raid on the Opulent Eye. However, Avandra's divine grace did not shine upon this endeavor. Their voidship, the Basilisk, was shot down by a squadron of Tyrant Orbs. The Basilisk then crash-landed on a high plateau within the Phantom range.
The remains of our kinsmen must be returned to Outpost Prime, my brothers. We must never abandon a member of our squad.
