Over the course of two centuries, he ascended to become the leader of a criminal syndicate known as the Purl Lattice. The Purl Lattice is led by the formidable Brainus, who is purported to possess a fortune rivaling that of any monarch and influence extending far and wide. Though he typically communicates through telepathy, when requiring others to perceive his message, he will take possession of a nearby individual to vocalize his words.
