Mieldroon

The colossal Maleraunt fortress of Mieldroon is situated in the heart of Kilth and is renowned for cultivating ferocious berserker barbarians. Many of Mieldroon's esteemed families were once affiliated with the Bloodtusk Regime. During the tumultuous Brothers Enmity War ( 1697 - 1723 ) , Ba'lith employed the martial prowess of Maleraunt mercenaries hailing from this citadel and the Maleraunt clans of Kilth.

Mieldroon is renowned for its long-standing tradition of raising and marketing intellect devourers. For over a millennium, several of Mieldroon's esteemed families have been cultivating these peculiar creatures. The Coral Archives of Tâchumâz suggest that the maleraunts pioneered this practice at Thegildreon, purportedly learning the art of monster husbandry from a demon dwelling within the Melephaeusan ruins. Intellect devourers, while endowed with exceptional intellects and cunning, never seek to dominate their handlers or the individuals they serve in Mieldroon. However, should they escape into the wild, they begin to assert their natural wickedness and self-serving interests. One of the most renowned intellect devourers to have escaped Mieldroon is Brainus, an exceptionally intelligent specimen who now leads a powerful criminal syndicate.
