Menkentat, the founder of Ag Envok, became its first Dragon Lord on 16 Temporal 875. Driven by a desire to construct something greater than a nomadic army beholden to the whims of battle priests and shamans in service to Tiamat, Menkentat, a clandestine adherent of Ares, adopted a more strategic approach to conflict, focusing on winning wars rather than mere skirmishes.
The Dragon Lord's tenure in Ag Envok was austere yet equitable. Uprisings and secessionist provinces were subdued with uncompromising severity, proving highly efficacious in reinstating a degree of law and restoring the honor of the region's dragon-bloods - which, it is said, was lost when the Zeymah'kein succumbed to the devil worshipers of Mir'piamauza.
A year after his death, Menkentat took up a new post, as a celestial general under Ares.
