The magnificent Barding of Vorn, enchanted by the revered Mad Wizard Flay, is a suit of +3 full plate barding of reflection. One of the key components that imbued this armor with its reflective quality is the flesh from the Severed Tongue of the mighty primordial behemoth known as the Nine-Tongued Worm.

The Barding of Vorn was crafted for a goblin named Muk-Shor. A loyal companion of Flay, adventuring comrades in their formative years, the barding was named after Muk-Shor's mount, a gorgon called Vorn.

In the year 1832, the elite Trauma Squad conducted a raid on the Torazan Sanctum. Within this ancient ruin, they vanquished the goblin Muk-Shor and his mount, the gorgon Vorn. The team discovered that both Muk-Shor and Vorn had been imprisoned as guardians of a nearby facility known as the Golem Depot. Formerly allies of Flay, they now remained in temporal stasis, awaiting the arrival of any who would enter the vault housing Flay's Flesh Golem Army.
