Said to contain the sand of a thousand beaches, this timepiece can be turned over, setting back a recent event so that it must be replayed for a potentially different outcome. Forged in Chronos's workshops, they were created by the thousands. Most were consumed during the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE). Costly and time-intensive to manufacture, their craftspeople were eventually compelled to depart and participate in combat rather than continuing to produce these intricate marvels. In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), thousands of these devices were utilized to defend Enmort. Today, fewer than a dozen of these artifacts remain. The years of skilled workmanship required to create these devices, in addition to the rare components found only in certain systems, account for their scarcity.
With 10 to 20 charges, the Hourglasses of Fate cannot be recharged.
