Enmort is an exceptionally perilous region where only the bravest venture, and fewer still depart unscathed. During the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), a device known as the Wheel of Time was overloaded, permanently warping the flow of time across the entire region.
The initial blink dogs originated at Enmort. They are the offspring of a pack of mongrels that, after escaping the kennels of Otriring, ventured into this uncanny time-warped realm. The survivors gave birth to litters of pups possessing the capacity to magically teleport.
One of the greatest magical hazards in this region is unnatural aging. This could be something as mild as the decade lost when encountering a ghost, or a severe withering that would mirror the decaying touch of Rioch Tetrax. Those reduced to dust become a useful ingredient for crafting items imbued with powers of haste, deceleration, decay, aging, vitality, teleportation, concealment, or other magical abilities involving time and space.
