The vibrant hues of the seven cloaks are crimson, golden, azure, violet, tangerine, emerald, and charcoal. Each was meticulously crafted by the esteemed Phaerssysn house. They were presented as a token of gratitude to the commanders of the Šukhan Legion, in recognition of the Legion's crucial assistance in Phaerssysn's conquest of a rival drow city-state. Upon receiving these exquisitely tailored overcoats, the Šukhan legates enchanted them with properties of unwavering loyalty and unity. These enchantments render the cloaks more resilient to blows and spells when worn by those acting in concert.
The overcoats are fabricated utilizing spider silk woven into cloth - a process referred to as Haelssysn Weave. They all possess the same abilities, but function more effectively in a defensive capacity for each individual who dons one within a group. The Overcoats of the Seven Legates were lost during the sacking of Imrik.
