Sakamân's Kiss is a mace-like weapon invented by the Lith-Crillion. It is not a unique item, as The Pure created numerous examples, with each psionic practitioner of 10th level or higher receiving one. The creation of this item requires brain fluid from a thought slayer. These psionic terrors feed on the psychic energy of others, making encountering them a task best undertaken by a team. During the Lith-Crillion Era, the prime locations to seek out thought slayers were areas of past psychic upheaval, such as the ruins of demons once used for torture and other atrocities during the Demon Spawn War, or sites of primordial chaos from the Creation War. Venturing into these regions would inevitably lead to confrontations with thought slayers, intellect devourers, telek stalkers, or other psionic predators. The Lith-Crillion term "Sakamân" translates to "thought slayer," and these entities were the most feared of the psionic predators due to their dreaded mind-consuming gaze.
The Lith-Crillion discovered that no metal could retain the enchantment using Sakamân brain fluid, so they spent nearly a decade refining blutium. The inaugural Sakamâns Kiss was also the first weapon forged of High Alloy Blutium.
A Sakamâns Kiss is a psychic mind-crushing mace. As a psychic weapon, its enchantment fluctuates depending on the power point reserves of the wielder.
