Golthess, a female Toomrur of the First Epoch, served as an Ogre Lord of Gúra. She was summoned to deal with a troublesome primordial sand worm that had developed a taste for humanoid flesh. Golthess and her warband traveled south of Diiv Prok to hunt the beast. During one of the frequent storms that batter the Sands of Hell, she became separated from most of her men and found herself facing the worm they had named Ches'gah alone. This would have been an easy victory with her warband, but alone, her chances were little better than suicide. Swallowed by the worm, she managed to survive, with only her legs consumed by the creature's internal rift. Killing Ches'gah from within, Golthess then crawled out of the worm. The next morning, her troops found her missing both legs, her flesh nearly gone from the worm's stomach acids. She handed her twin broad axes to her lieutenant and ordered him to sever her head, instructing him to take it to the shaman Galnon Takhar. This shaman used Grishnákh Voodoo to imbue Golthess' skull with spirit magic.
The Skull of Golthess is an open-faced skull-shaped helmet.
