The energy grenade is a ceramic or crystalline egg-like device that encases a form of energy. Two of the more prevalent energies utilized for these grenades within the Quara'tum System are positive energy and negative energy. Potent against the undead, positive energy grenades are commonly referred to as Pos-Grenades, while those of negative energy are called NEGs.
The area of effect for the energy grenade is a 10-foot radius (Reflex DC 16 for half damage). NEG and Pos-Grenades are 6 inches in diameter, approximately 2 inches thick in the center and narrowing to 1/4 inch at the edge, and weigh four pounds. Entropic and holy grenades are weapons of the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), their sizes varied to match the intended user.
