The Danzar-Khâl Monument stands as the largest monument on Bal-Kriav. Built during the Second Epoch, it honors the dwarven god Danzar-Khâl. Stonemasons from across the region participated in its construction, following the guidelines of the Church of Danzar-Khâl without the aid of magic. Commenced in 1090, the monument's construction spanned nearly three centuries. Upon its completion, a coffer dam that had diverted the waters during the building process was destroyed, unleashing the waters of Shatharbal down a channel where they spilled from the mouth of a towering dwarven statue. This majestic statue, measuring 1200' in height, serves as a tribute to the god Danzar-Khâl, with a pick in one hand and a dwarven battleaxe in the other. Ingeniously, these weapons have been incorporated into the nearby walls, as the dwarfs were unable to devise a design to support the statue's immense weight aloft. The most remarkable feature of the statue is the 200-foot-diameter hole that serves as the deity's mouth, through which the water cascades down a 1000' high waterfall into the Nielalroch surf.

The massive chromed metal discs serve as the eyes of the Danzar-Khâl Monument, permanently lit and acting as a lighthouse for seafarers. The monument is more than just a lighthouse - it is a fortified complex that serves as the headquarters of the Felindûl, a guild of elite dwarven warriors. Supplementing the defenses are trained dragon turtles, rocs, and rhinoceros war beasts. The statue's legs contain chambers accessible by elevators and stairs, leading down to the docks known as Arazûd. This sheltered harbor, reached by sailing between the legs, is capable of accommodating fifty large warships and normally holds a third of Grimmarsveinn's navy, with the remaining ships split between the naval bases at Tallsard and Klord.
