On the western shores of the Clans Region lie the strongholds of the Grimmarsveinn. Governed by a syndicate, they are a profoundly mercantile people. Their most prominent international trading partners are Malacost and Ivory Asylum. Unlike the other three Turkûn nations of the area, the Grimmarsveinn's principal places of worship are devoted to non-dwarven deities.
The mariners of Grimmarsveinn are not regarded favorably by numerous conventional Turkûn inhabiting the interior regions. Their seafaring ways are viewed with disdain by many traditional Turkûn.
The inhabitants of Grimmarsveinn are an amiable and sociable population. They regard the area's conflict with the elves of the High Wood Country as unproductive; better achieved through the supremacy of commerce.
