Terraces of Mêzelurûs

When the creationist Mêzelurûs became one with the land around her, she forever altered the inland sea Mizzen, the forest and creatures of Zendanul, and the grasslands of Shathirmun. From the northern reaches of this plain, all the way into Nelthack's ebony waters, the ground split open, leaving behind rugged terraces. Over the ages, these towering spires have flourished with diverse life. In the rainy region of Shathirmun, many of Izagunbar's inland streams and rivers originate from these mountain-sized terraces. Along the fringes of the Mizzen ocean, partially submerged terraces can be found, with sunken ones in the depths. Those in Nelthack are surrounded by wetlands, with the largest terrace of this swamp serving as the foundation for the city of Sakulleth.

In addition to serving as a source of wonder and shelter for numerous creatures, the Terraces of Mêzelurûs also conceal ancient lore. These enigmatic runes, visible only at particular times throughout the year, are known as the Musings of Mêzelurûs. They offer a rare and invaluable glimpse into the mind of a mighty entity that perished within the Izagunbar region.
